4-3-3: Predicted Man United XI vs Spurs – Tuanzebe starts, McTominay returns

Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow night at Old Trafford, in a game which will see the return of a familiar face…

Jose Mourinho heads back to the ground he called home just twelve months ago, with the self-proclaimed Special One no doubt feeling as though he has a point to prove.

His Spurs side has been in good form since the Portuguese took charge, while on the flip, the Red Devils have been struggling. Anyway, with that in mind let’s delve right into the predicted Man United XI for this one…

David de Gea will obviously keep his place in between the sticks and no doubt he’ll be tested heavily by Harry Kane and co…

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will play at right-back, though over on the left-hand side of the defence, we’ve gone for Ashley Young. The Englishman brings that experience which Brandon Williams has shown a lack of this term. Harry Maguire starts at centre-half and in comes Axel Tuanzebe for Victor Lindelof.

Scott McTominay makes a return from injury for this one. Unfortunately, though, Fred and Andreas Pereira both still play – that’s basically due to a lack of any other options at Solskjaer’s disposal.

After Anthony Martial’s injury, we reckon Mason Greenwood will come into the XI with Marcus Rashford to his left and Daniel James on his right. Hopefully, this is a trio that can do some damage to a usually-stern back line…
