Amad Diallo is here, with the new Manchester United man proudly sporting his new jersey for the first time.
Well, we’ve been waiting a while. Since October in fact, but Manchester United finally have their man. After agreeing a deal to sign Amad Diallo on transfer deadline day, but not having enough time to sort out a work permit, the young Ivorian is now at Old Trafford.
Diallo is seemingly a player that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seriously believes in. Heck, why else would he sanction a big-money move for United’s new #19?
Now the deal is confirmed and official, with Diallo looking to get right into it as he completed his first training session alone at the AON Training Complex today.
Anyway, here’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for. Check out Amad Diallo in his United jersey for the first time, cheers to the official @ManUtd Twitter account for the photos.
Check out the snaps of Amad Diallo here:
Diallo has already had the fans talking after an impressive Champions League debut for Atalanta. However, making it at Old Trafford is a completely different kettle of fish.
Much like Facundo Pellistri, you’d imagine Diallo will be eased into it at United. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Ivorian make his debut before the current season ends.
For now, it’s about working hard in training with whatever age group he’s placed with. He’ll also need time to settle into his new surroundings. The good news? His countryman Eric Bailly will no doubt be offering him all the support Diallo needs.
Then it’s down to the right-winger to prove why United signed him. The club themselves will also be hoping that Diallo can prove to be that reliable right-winger we’ve dearly lacked over the last few seasons.
Red definitely suits you, Amad! Welcome to Manchester United!
