Champions League draw LIVE: Premier League giants learn their group stage fate

Champions League draw LIVE

Good evening and welcome to Starsport’s live coverage.

We’ll bring you the draw in full when it gets underway.

We’re expecting plenty of waffle from the Uefa’s busy bodies before we finally get down the drawing of the groups around 5.30pm.

Stay with us until then, currently up is a montage of last season’s competition. A bloke is making weird noises with his mouth. We don’t know why.

Now Roma legend Franscesco Totti has won an award. Just for being a bit of a legend, it seems.

Juventus and Italy hero Gianluigi Buffon is now on stage, he’s won the Champions League Goalkeeper of the Season award.

Champions League group stage draw: How does it work?

Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City are all in the draw and can begin planning for their trips across Europe.

Manchester United are also in the hat after winning the Europa League last term.

Scottish champions Celtic are in after trashing Astana in their qualifying play-off.

Celtic can face any of the five English clubs, but none of the Premier League clubs will be drawn to face each other in the group stages.

Back-to-back champions Real Madrid and last season’s runners-up Juventus are also there.
