They may have a point with the Premier League champions having been blessed with ‘easier’ ties in all three Cup competitions so far.
In the Champions League last-16 they drew arguably the weakest team remaining in the competition, Schalke, who have struggled in the Bundesliga all season and are fearing relegation.
Manchester City have also been drawn to play Championship side Swansea in the FA Cup quarter-final after previously having played League Two side Newport and Championship strugglers Rotherham.
They have also already won the Carabao Cup, beating Chelsea on penalties in the final, but were handed the easier semi-final against Burton while Chelsea and Tottenham drew each other in the other.
In the earlier rounds of the competition they played Oxford United away, Fulham at home, and Leicester away.
While you can only beat the teams that are put in front of you, there is no doubting that City have been drawn to play against weaker opposition this season.
And this has led to opposition fans claiming that the Premier League champions are having it too easy.
Some even claim that the draws have been RIGGED so that they can win the quadruple and have taken to social media to vent their anger.
One fan wrote: “Who thinks City will get Porto in quarters then and Liverpool get United? It’s guaranteed!”
“Man City against Ajax or Porto away in first leg then everyone? Why change things. Quadruple handed to them on a plate.
Another Liverpool fan said: “Bring on United then in Champions League. We may as well win it the hard way while City get easiest draw as usual.”
A Manchester United fan said: “If City get Porto and we get the Scousers then I’m jacking it all in. It’s rigged!”
Indeed, Guardiola’s men are still on course to achieve the unprecedented feat with FA Cup and Champions League quarter-finals to play.
They also sit top of the Premier League by one point over Liverpool with eight games to go.
It remains to be seen if they continue with their good luck so far this season.
