Jose Mourinho will give first-team minutes to brilliant 21-year-old this season: report
Manchester United Football Club are known for producing young players and utilising that talent on the grandest of stages. That is a mantra Jose Mourinho seems keen to carry on, with the likes of Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard amongst the first-team squad.
Another academy graduate who I personally thought would become an integral member of the team this year is Andreas Pereira. As we all know, the 21-year-old spent last season out on loan at Granada where he thoroughly impressed.
However, he hasn’t been included in any of our squads in the three competitive matches played so far, and that led to rumours suggesting that he could leave the club on loan.
Now journalist Pilib De Brun has come out and claimed that the self-proclaimed Special One doesn’t want Pereira to leave – and he will get minutes this season. It just depends on how much…
Mourinho doesn’t want to let Pereira leave, said to him he will play this year. All depends how much.

Pereira is brilliant, and we’ve already seen just how good he can be for us. He excelled during pre-season and I’m delighted that he has been promised game time.
With that said, I wouldn’t expect to see him involved before the international break. After that point, that is when the games will start coming thick and fast in various competitions – that’s when his opportunity will likely come. For now, he has to keep working hard and impress in training.
