Manchester United need a big summer transfer window. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who we all think is going to be the next permanent manager, must be backed.
However, alongside signing new players, the Red Devils must keep ahold of what they already have. According to Mundo Deportivo in Spain, Marcus Rashford is amongst FC Barcelona’s potential options for transfer targets; alongside Antoine Griezmann and Luka Jovic.
As we all know, Rashford is a top player, he has been performing insanely good under Solskjaer, and United are obviously keen to keep him around.
Things are made much tougher when an elite European side comes calling, though. Whether that means a new contract for Rashford on increased terms just to ensure he stays then so be it.
He’s the sort of player that you build a team around and this club must do all they can to ensure the homegrown players stick around. At the end of the day, if we can’t keep these guys, then what hope do we have when it comes to signing top-level players from other countries?
For Barcelona, they’ll get the opportunity to look at Rashford first-hand when the two sides meet in the Champions League quarter-final in about two weeks time.
