It’s that of Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani. According to 90min.com, United are considering a move for the 32-year-old forward as Solskjaer continues to rebuild this Reds squad.

The Uruguay international has been somewhat pushed out of proceedings due to Kylian Mbappe and Neymar and he could well be willing to move away from the Parc des Princes as he seeks regular football.

90min also understands that while United understand that the January window is a difficult one to buy in, there is money available to Solskjaer should the right player come along.

Although it goes against the grain of what Solskjaer is trying to achieve, perhaps experience is exactly what’s needed for United at this point.
