Manchester United laboured to a 0-0 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out, with the Red Devils now having to do it all again in a replay – albeit this time it’ll be at Old Trafford.
Anyway, this evening, the FA Cup Fourth Round draw took place, with United learning their potential fate. If anything, it should serve as motivation.
The Reds will face either Tranmere Rovers or Watford away from home should they overcome Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in the replay, though that’s easier said than done, given the fact they’re yet to beat the Midlands outfit since their promotion eighteen months ago.
I look at it like this, United have a great chance at going far in the FA Cup and it’s always a brilliant trophy to win. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has proven he has what it takes to go toe-to-toe with the best managers and win so he should certainly be taking this seriously.
When you factor in that we’re still in the Carabao Cup and have a two-legged Europa League tie against Club Brugge to look towards, this could still be a successful season for the 20-time Premier League champions. Now if only we could sign a player or two…
The potential tie will be played between 24th-27th January.
