Each of his tackles were cheered like a goal as the United new boy quickly endeared himself to fans.

On social media too, United fans recognised the incredible performance.

Wan-Bissaka is expected to start United’s Premier League opener in three weeks’ time too.

The Red Devils kick off the new campaign with a visit from Chelsea at Old Trafford, where Wan-Bissaka will likely come up against Christian Pulisic.
