Man Utd get huge injury boost as key star provides positive injury update

Manchester United Football Club won’t take to the field until May at the earliest. Who knows whether this season will be played out till its conclusion…

Before the hiatus, United were playing some lovely football under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – though they were doing it without a couple of key players through injury; Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba.

Earlier on in the month, we covered a story in which we learned that Pogba was back in training. Now, it seems as though Rashford is making massive strides in the right direction, too…

The key star, speaking to Sky Sports News, has provided a positive injury update, handing United a huge injury boost as we gear up for the all-important season run-in.

“I feel much better. I have a scan in another couple of days and that should solidify it, but I feel much better compared to two or three weeks ago,” Rashford exclusively told Sky Sports News.

“I feel 10 times better now. For me, now it’s just about getting ready to build up back up to training and then playing games for the team.

“I’m in a much better place. I’m much happier than I was about a month ago so things are looking positive.”

Back issues aren’t to be messed with and for Rashford it came at a point where the youngster was having his best ever United campaign. The confidence was flowing and the Englishman was scoring goals for fun, wreaking havoc against whoever the opponent was.

This global pandemic, has, in a weird way, helped United. Now, they’ll be getting their star forward back and if the term is played out, Rashford could be hugely important as the Reds look to force their way into the top four. Don’t forget we’re still competing in both the FA Cup and Europa League, too…

First and foremost, it’s just great to hear that Rashford is doing better. Hopefully, he’s working hard behind closed doors and building up those all-important fitness levels!
