Manchester United and youth go hand-in-hand. Credit where it’s due, Ole Gunnar Solskajer has tried to continue that mantra and is doing an excellent job.
Red Devils scouts are no doubt scouring the globe to find the next big thing, with the search taking them to Spain, namely the capital… According to AS, United have ‘joined the bidding’ to sign the mega-talented 19-year-old Real Madrid attacking midfielder, Cesar Galabert Pina.
According to said report, United and FC Barcelona are now interested in signing the young attacking midfielder, who has been labelled as one of the most ‘promising’ young players for the future, by manager Zinedine Zidane, per Sport Witness.
Look, I’m not going to sit here and pretend I know everything about Galabert. He’s a young up-and-comer who’ll need time to develop and grow as a player.
Where better to do that than at Old Trafford where he knows he’ll get a chance, provided he’s good enough…
Personally, I see one major stumbling block here. It’s Real Madrid. They’re arguably the biggest club in the world and what young Spaniard doesn’t want to play for them?
Why on earth would they let him leave if his manager rates him so highly? I guess we’ll just have to see how this one plays out.
