The Red Devils boss is expecting the same game plan which proved so successful for the Gunners against Chelsea.
Unai Emery’s Arsenal beat the Blues 2-0 in Saturday’s Premier League showdown at the Emirates.
Goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny earned the Gunners a crucial three points in their pursuit of a top-four finish.
Attention turns to the FA Cup, though, tonight as Solskjaer looks to extend his winning run as Manchester United interim manager.
The Red Devils have won seven in a row since the Norwegian’s return in the dugout.
But he faces another real test tonight at Arsenal, who produced one of their best displays yet under Emery against Chelsea.
It was noted how the Gunners pressed far higher and swarmed all over Maurizio Sarri’s players last weekend.
And asked if he expects the same intensity from Arsenal as in their performance against Chelsea, Solskjaer told MUTV: “Yes, you have to say that the game against Chelsea was impressive.
“They’ve got pace up front so we know we’ve got to be on song”
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
“They really took control of that game and pressed high as you said.
“They scored two goals and they have got counter-attacking threat as well.
“But it’s not just that part of it – they’ve got pace up front so we know we’ve got to be on song.”
United were dumped out of the Carabao Cup earlier this season by Championship side Derby.
And they will be desperate to avoid another early exit in a domestic cup competition, especially at the hands of one of their fiercest rivals.
United will return to Premier League action after tonight’s tie, with Burnley up next at home on Tuesday.
