Manchester United Football Club are undoubtedly trending upwards under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tutelage. Credit where it’s due, the Baby Faced Assassin has stepped up when his team need him the most.
However, there is much work ahead for the Red Devils. Further signings need to be made in order to continue the push up the Premier League table. It seems as though United are trying to stick with what they know – signing youth and nurturing talent; enter Jude Bellingham.
It’s a story we here at Old Trafford Faithful have been following for a fair while now, but the latest update is majorly encouraging, to say the least.
According to the usually excellent James Robson in the Evening Standard, United are ‘obsessed’ with winning the race to sign the young midfielder – which led to the club giving Bellingham a ‘personal tour’ of Old Trafford last week.
Furthermore, Robson adds that United are ‘desperate’ to see off competition for his signature, with Borussia Dortmund amongst the other potential suitors. That alone should tell you all you need to know about his talents, with Jadon Sancho being the perfect example.
Simply put, United and Dortmund are sides that know talent when they see it. Bellingham could well be the next big thing and it’s understandable that the Red Devils don’t want to miss out on that.
It’s stated that United have put together a £20m package to convince Birmingham to cash in on their prized asset, though it’s thought it may take around £30million to get the deal done…
