The Red Devils were second-best from the first minute at Goodison Park, where Marco Silva’s side dominated throughout.
Pogba and his United co-stars all struggled during the defeat – but according to the Sun, the midfielder was the one receiving a dressing down afterwards.
The publication claims the Frenchman was ‘shot-down’ by his team-mates as he complained in the dressing room at full-time.
Tensions are clearly high at United at present – and it appears Pogba may be losing his patience with what is going on at Old Trafford.
The Sun claim the Frenchman does not think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the man to turn the club’s fortunes around – and is unconvinced that United are any better than they were when he left for Juventus back in 2012.
Pogba has reportedly confessed these views to his fellow team-mates, mainly after the 2-0 defeat to Man City in midweek.
The former Juventus star was due to have a meeting with club chiefs last week to discuss a new contract.
However, super-agent Mino Raiola reportedly pulled the plug on talks as his client weighs up his future.
Pogba has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent weeks.
But Solskjaer today revealed he thinks the player will stay at United.
“I think he will be here next season,” he told reporters on Friday morning.
“Paul has done fantastic for us.
“We want him to do well. He is a leader in the dressing room.
“If I could guarantee I would say yes.
“You can’t guarantee but I think he will be.”
United welcome fellow top-four chasers Chelsea to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils sit sixth in the Premier League, three points behind the Blues.
