Man Utd to beat Barcelona 4-0, Solskjaer world's BEST manager – hear fan's hilarious claim

One radio caller believes his team will comfortably overturn their first-leg deficit in Spain tonight having “outplayed” Barcelona last week.

The ludicrious claim came after he had heralded Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the game’s best manager following his four month stint at Old Trafford.

According to this overly optimistic Manchester United fan Solskjaer’s efforts since taking over in December could not have been replicated by another other manager including Pep Guardiola and Massimiliano Allegri.

The Norwegian is looking to manufacture another memorable night in Europe following their win over PSG in the last round.

“This might be a bit controversial but I think he is the best manager in the world,” said this fan on BBC 5 Live Radio.

“There is no other manager that has done the job he has done – not Guardiola, not Klopp, not Allegri.

“He is the best manager in the world. Fact.

“Could any other manager have done what he’s done? No.

“He has been top of the table since he has taken over.”

United currently lie sixth in the Premier League – the same position they were when they sacked Jose Mourinho in December.

Although a turn around in form has seen them be far more competitive under Solskjaer.

Nevertheless Barcelona taught United a lesson in their first-leg victory that was decided by an own goal after Luke Shaw deflected a Luis Suarez header into his own net.

The Red Devils failed to register a shot on target in a match that saw them have just 34% of possession.

But despite that this fan sees plenty of reasons to believe a turnaround is possible against Lionel Messi’s league leaders.

“We outplayed them. We battered Barcelona,” he added.

“Messi looked frightened, Suarez couldn’t get a sniff, they scored a deflected own goal.

“We battered them – watch at the Nou Camp 4-0.

“Smelling had Messi in his back pocket.

“Anyone who understands football knows we battered Barcelona.”
