Man Utd to sign Ajax striker after Dillon Hoogewerf decision is confirmed

The 16-year-old is considered one of the hottest prospects in the Dutch club’s youth ranks.

He chipped in with 10 goals and six assists for Ajax’s Under-17s this season.

Hoogewerf made the step up to Under-19 level in the process, appearing for the Amsterdam-based club in the UEFA Youth League.

Ajax’s head of youth education Said Ouaali has confirmed that Hoogewerf wants out.

“Dillon has indicated last week that he will leave the club,” Ouaali told the club’s official website.

“He is leaving for a foreign club.

“We wish him a lot of success and know that we have done everything to keep him.
