Man Utd told Paulo Dybala price amid Juventus transfer development – Paul Pogba involved

United are having to deal with a multitude of problems in the transfer market this summer.

After signing Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the Red Devils have ran into problems with a third – with Leicester clinging onto Harry Maguire.

The Englishman has been made Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s preferred target in defence but the Foxes are demanding £90m.

On top of that, the Norwegian is contesting with Pogba – who is desperate to leave the club after stating that he wants a new challenge.

Real Madrid have looked like the frontrunners but after their own summer splurge they are struggling to stump up the funds.

And Juventus are also in the running and would like to take the Frenchman back, three years after selling him for a then-record fee.

But they, too, are not keen on splashing out on the £150m asking price United have slapped on the World Cup winner.

However, the Red Devils have a longstanding interest in Dybala but the Argentine has been reluctant to make the move.

But that has all changed, according to Tuttosport, with the former Palermo forward now open to an Old Trafford transfer.

And the Daily Mail are reporting that Juve will not let Dybala go for anything less than £70m, with the Turin outfit pushing for £90m.

Any swap deal for ‘La Joya’ and Pogba could help bring the prices down on both, with the latter viewed as the more valuable commodity.

Taking Dybala’s valuation into account, Juve could snap Pogba up for around £60m – with the forward going in the opposite direction.

The Argentina international had a tough time last year under Massimiliano Allegri, who marginalised the striker.

And his future is no clearer under new boss Maurizio Sarri, who is a big fan of Gonzalo Higuain and wants to bring in Mauro Icardi.

Paris St-Germain are also in the running for Dybala, but the interest in Pogba gives United the advantage.
