Manchester United starlet set for lengthy sideline spell following serious injury: report
Manchester United youngster Callum Gribbin is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines, according to the Manchester Evening News. The 18-year-old fractured a fibula, after suffering the injury in training before United’s reserve fixtures got underway.
When he burst onto the scene a couple of years ago as a 16-year-old, Gribbin certainly looked like one of the hottest prospects on United’s books at that time. But, last year, he had a few injury issues and lightning seems to have struck twice in that regard.
This is rotten luck for young Gribbin, who took to Twitter to talk about just how gutted he is at being out of action for a prolonged period.
At the end of the day, he’s still young and in that sense, time is most definitely on his side. He seems to be remaining upbeat about the whole situation however hard it may be.
The Salford-born attacker now has to keep his cool and not get too frustrated whilst he is out of action. Although, watching his teammates from the sidelines will be a tough ask for the foreseeable future.
Best of luck with your recovery, Callum.
