Manchester United Football Club are certainly heading in a different, more positive direction right now.
Credit where it’s due, the Baby Faced Assassin has made this squad into one that’s likeable, relatable and most importantly, talented. However, changes are being made and they’ll continue to happen as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to tinker with things.
Amongst those who has fallen down the pecking order is Jesse Lingard. Personally, I feel his time at Old Trafford is up.
However, according to 90min.com, the out of favour 27-year-old, who has had to settle for most of his minutes off the substitutes bench, will not be forced out against his will this summer.
With Bruno Fernandes arriving, plus talk aplenty in regards to players like Jack Grealish and James Maddison, you feel like Lingard’s minutes will only further decrease – not go the other way.
Couple that with the fact that he’s now represented by Mino Raiola, you certainly get the impression that a move away could well be on the cards.
Well, it looks as though Lingard will have plenty of options in regards to a next move… 90min.com add that four Premier League sides are keeping tabs on the situation; Newcastle, Everton, West Ham, along with Leicester City, who maintain an interest.
It does seem as though the writing is on the wall…
