The France star arrived in 2016 for a world-record £89m but United have failed to kick on and challenge for major trophies since he signed.
Pogba has decided he wants a move, but getting a deal done with the Manchester giants will prove tricky with the club putting a price of £150m on his head.
With Juventus already signing Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot this summer there doesn’t look to be a place in their midfield, while Real Madrid have forked out mega money on a string of signings.
And when his agent Raiola was asked about Pogba’s future, he issued a cyptic comment.
He told Sky Sports Italia when asked about the United star: “A person’s destiny is never written.”
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows Pogba well having been in charge of the reserve team during the Frenchman’s first spell at Old Trafford.
“Paul is a fantastic player and a fantastic human being,” he said.

Mino Raiola on Man Utd star Paul Pogba
“He has always been a great professional. When I was at Molde, I said, ‘if he’s in your squad, you’d build a team around him’.
‘I would say the same now. Manchester United fans know their football. We know Paul has been criticised by a few but he’s loved by loads more.
“You know, it’s the best feeling you can have to be at this club when we’re successful.
“The ones that might want to leave now haven’t been here when it’s been successful. Hopefully they want to be part of that. I want to be part of it.”
Solskjaer confirmed he’ll have a say in all of Manchester United’s transfer deals this summer.
He said: “There won’t be any players here I don’t want. No.
“We are still looking at one or two options but it depends on outgoings.
“It might be more because if suddenly two or three go, then you have to replace players.”
