Manchester United Football Club has given many legends of the beautiful game a platform to thrive.

Old Trafford is a special place. Fans will fondly remember their heroes from over the last 100 years. Their legacies will forever live on. It’s not easy to be considered a United legend. Heck, there were question marks as to whether Wayne Rooney would achieve that feat. He’s our record goal-scorer!

Although he wasn’t here as long as we’d all have liked, Patrice Evra is a true Red Devils hero and it’s always special to see him back at the club whenever he visits.

Well yesterday, the Frenchman took to Twitter to post a photo of himself back at Carrington, wearing United colours, as he works towards his coaching badges.

When you see him donning United colours it just brings back all those superb memories of his playing days. For me, Evra is up there amongst the best left-backs to ever play in the Premier League and he won absolutely everything there is to win during his time at Old Trafford.

He’s now still always in the public eye due to his brilliant social media activity, but I’d give an arm and a leg to see him head back to United in some sort of coaching or directorial capacity!

Welcome home, uncle Pat!
