We’ve been without football for almost three weeks now, with almost another month before there’s even the possibility of action again.
In the meantime, we’ve been pretty busy covering various transfer rumours and stories, which was to be expected. However, you guys have also been loving our coverage of WhoScored’s various best XIs. Check out that thread here.
Today, we’re back at it again. This time, it’s their European U21 Team of the Season so far, with the guys over @UtdReport finding the infographic. Included in the team was key United star Marcus Rashford, who scored an impressive 7.34 rating.
We did some digging to find the original source. Eventually, we found it on WhoScored’s website, though it actually went live around a week ago. Normally, we wouldn’t post content that’s so outdated, but with no games in between, the ratings haven’t changed.
Rashford’s excellent score is only bettered by the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Earling Haaland and Jadon Sancho. Our Englishman is keeping pretty fine company, huh?
Rashford is not only leading the way for United, but he’s also the only Premier League-based player to be included. As the article states, Trent Alexander-Arnold is probably the shock exclusion, but they don’t half love defenders in Germany, hence why both Davies and Hakimi have superior scores…
