Manchester United have a mini injury-crisis on their hands at the moment, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to hit the ground running following the international break.
The Red Devils have several defensive player sidelined, meaning the first one that returns has a real opportunity to stake their claim for a regular starting spot.
One man who could be in the running to be fit soon is Diogo Dalot. Now, according to the Shanghai SIPG, translated by the BBC, the injured United defender is currently working hard in China of all places…
The 20-year-old arrived in Shanghai on August 29th to work with the ‘miracle-working physiotherapist’ Eduardo Santos, who is employed by SIPG.
Anyway, as you can see from the pictures below it looks like Dalot is doing some ball work, meaning he’s stepping up his recovery and looking to get himself back out on the playing field.
His first season at Old Trafford was hit and miss. The young Portuguese showed promise as both a right-back and right-winger, but I still believe there’s more to come from him.
Hopefully, it’s not too long before the 20-year-old gets to showcase his talents once again, giving him an opportunity to cement his place within the starting line-up.
