Manchester United made a blistering start to the Premier League season, beating Chelsea 4-0 at Old Trafford and throwing a real marker down.
Next up is a potentially tricky trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers. On our two trips to Molineux last term, we lost both. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to try and right those wrongs – though it’s not going to be easy.
Ahead of the game, the boys looked in good spirits in first-team training as the Baby Faced Assassin put his players through their paces. As always, thanks to the official club Twitter account for the great photos:
In amongst it was new signings Harry Maguire and Daniel James, while youngsters including Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong were also pictured.
Familiar faces like Paul Pogba, Ashley Young and even the manager was in amongst it, with the plan now being put together for our next game on Monday night.
The game brings different problems to the Chelsea fixture. The good thing is that I feel this United team is built perfectly to succeed on the road. Our counter-attacking ability is insane with our new-look front three and if the outlet ball from defence is right then we could cause some serious problems.
It’s good to see the boys in good spirits ahead of a huge encounter, mind.
