Odion Ighalo is the talk of the town at Manchester United. The Nigerian, whom many were underwhelmed by when the signing was announced, has hit the ground running.
Three starts, four goals and an incredible derby day cameo has changed hearts. Ighalo is deserving of every little bit of praise that’s coming his way.
The best part about it? Ighalo is a boyhood United fan and there’s no better feeling than watching him live out a dream that every single one of us have had.
Even amid the coronavirus pandemic, Odion Ighalo isn’t letting quarantine stop him from putting in hard graft. He uploaded the below photos to his Twitter account late last night:
It’s a funny time for these players. They’re unsure as to when football will kick off again so they have to put in the graft as if they would normally – albeit they’ll be largely working alone.
Ighalo isn’t letting anything stop him play for the club he supported as a young boy, though, and nothing is going to take that away from him.
Hopefully, our heroes, including Ighalo, return to the field in the not too distant future. I’m praying the season doesn’t get cancelled for him more than anyone as if they scrap this term, there’s a real chance he’ll never pull on that jersey ever again…
