Sky: Man United get big injury boost as world-class star fully fit, could play vs Tottenham

Despite the lack of actual football being played, Manchester United have still made headlines. I guess that comes with the territory of being the biggest club on the planet.

What’s happening around the world is sad and postponing football was 100% the correct decision. However, I’m ready for the resumption of our Red Devils.

Well, ahead of United’s June 20th return against Tottenham Hotspur, Sky Sports News’ James Cooper has kept us inundated with all things Red Devils; amongst those is Paul Pogba’s fitness…

The Old Trafford club have been handed a big injury boost, with Pogba ‘fully fit’ ahead of the Premier League’s return. So-much-so that he could play, and pair up with Bruno Fernandes for the first time against Spurs.

Factor in Marcus Rashford’s return and a loan deal extension for Odion Ighalo and suddenly, this squad is looking in far better shape than it was a few months ago.

United have the potential to hit the ground running with a huge victory over Spurs and make a real push on making it into the top-four while progressing in the cup competitions.

Whether we like Pogba the person or not, he’s a fantastic player on his deal and make no mistake, he’ll have an important role to play. Hopefully, he’s mentally ready and raring to go…
