Manchester United’s proposed move for Jadon Sancho is certainly picking up the pace. We’ve been covering that story from day dot, here.
Well, it’s certainly good news for the Old Trafford outfit, with the report stating that the star 20-year-old is ‘very interested’ in a United transfer – before the story adds that Old Trafford is a likely next destination for Sancho. That’s partly due to his time at Manchester City, due to his familiarity with the city and having friends in the area.
Sancho has registered fourteen goals and six assists this term, as his stock continues to rise. Other interested parties include Liverpool and Chelsea, but I’ve always had the feeling that United have been leading the race to sign the young Englishman – largely due to the financial power that they have.
Again, the £120m fee is mentioned in this piece, with Borussia Dortmund set to make a huge profit on a youngster they paid just £8million to sign a few years ago.
United haven’t had a right-winger of real quality for years. Sancho would undoubtedly fill that void, while here’s to hoping he can break that god-forsaken curse on the number seven jersey…
