Manchester United welcome Chelsea at Old Trafford in the Premier League this afternoon. Of late, United has been in poor form but still, they have a chance to break back into the top four this season. Tottenham Hotspur saw themselves beaten 1-0 by West Ham United on Saturday and Leicester City beat Arsenal 3-0 in the first match today. This leaves the door open for both United and Chelsea.
If this does not motivate the United players, who do not seem to have been all that motivated in recent weeks, it will motivate the Chelsea players, who with two matches remaining, will be seeking a place in the UEFA Champions League next season, whether through league position or winning the UEFA Europa League. If no desire is show by United today, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to blood youth in the last two matches.

In the last six matches, United has won just once, losing five matches. Chelsea is in much better form, winning four, drawing once and losing once in their last six. United has failed to score a single goal in their last three matches, only scoring two penalties against West Ham meaning it has been four hours and 40 minutes since they
United and Chelsea have played 182 competitive matches. United has won the most matches with 78 victories, drawing 50 and losing 54. United won this fixture 2-1 last season, and draw 2-2 at Stamford Bridge earlier this season, winning 2-0 in the Emirates FA Cup in February. Restoring faith by the supporters is necessary as United need the victory in this match.
