Manchester United Football Club are just a few players away from competing at the business end of major competitions.
Credit to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has shipped out plenty of deadwood and turned this squad into a super-competitive one.
The Baby Faced Assassin has identified a mantra and stuck to it. Signing youth has been a major part of that, while Birmingham City’s Jude Bellingham seems to be Solskjaer’s number one target in that regard.
Well United fans are waking up to good news this morning, and it comes courtesy of Duncan Castles, speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast.
Castles is claiming that the talented midfielder Bellingham is now ‘eaning more towards Manchester United’ than he had been at ‘any other previous stage’.
The journalist also adds that United’s efforts to convince Bellingham have definitely helped, including the 16-year-old and his parents paid a visit to the AON Training Complex earlier this year.
It definitely does feel like United are trying to pull out all the stops to get this deal done. Bellingham isn’t a player I’ve ever watched, though you have to trust the judgement of our coaching staff and scouts – who have all been excellent at recruiting the best talent in the country over the last few years.
In terms of a fee, Bellingham will likely cost more than most but if you want to beat out the best then you’re going to have to pay top dollar…
