The five deals Man Utd can expect to get done this summer

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate for fresh faces as he looks to bounce back from a disappointing end to the campaign.

The Norwegian has been keen to improve his squad with young, homegrown talent and has already brought in Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Reports have suggested United want to bring in three more players before the window shuts, while a number of stars could yet leave.

And Starsport have looked at the five deals most likely to go through.

Harry Maguire

United have made a new centre-back their summer priority and Maguire is their No.1 target.

The Leicester star is reportedly set to have a medical after the two clubs agreed a £75m fee.

Maguire has impressed for Leicester, establishing himself as an England regular, and Solskjaer sees him as the ideal partner for Victor Lindelof.

Bruno Fernandes

Solskjaer is keen to bolster his midfield options following Ander Herrera’s exit, as well as speculation surrounding Paul Pogba.

Fernandes has been heavily linked following a stunning season that saw him score 32 times for Sporting Lisbon.

The 24-year-old has a £72m release clause and while Manchester City have spoken with his representatives, United are the favourites as it stands.

United want two midfielders and Newcastle star Sean Longstaff is also on their radar.

The 21-year-old is valued at £50m by the north east club and the Red Devils may have been priced out of a move.

However, uncertainty over Newcastle’s manager and transfer budget could lead to them lowering their demands later in the window.

Paul Pogba

Pogba has once again been linked with a big-money move away after admitting earlier this year that he fancies a new challenge.

Real Madrid are interested but former club Juventus appear to be leading the race and Pogba almost missed United’s trip to Australia in order to force through a move.

Romelu Lukaku

The Frenchman is unplayable when he turns it on but those days are a rarity and Solskjaer could be tempted to cash in to boost his budget.

Romelu Lukaku

The Belgian is being chased by Inter Milan after falling out of favour under Solskjaer.

Marcus Rashford is United’s first-choice striker and Inter boss Antonio Conte wants Lukaku to replace Mauro Icardi up top.

United are demanding £75m but talks are ongoing, with Inter preferring a structured loan deal with an option to buy.
