The Brazilian is finally adapting to life both in England and out on a Premier League football field. Credit where it’s due, as it would’ve been oh so easy to just move on or give up completely. Fred kept working hard and turned his fortunes around.
Last night was more of the same. The former Shakhtar Donetsk kept things ticking over in midfield and was rewarded with two assists. That’s four goal contributions in is last two Europa League outings, brilliant stuff.
Without question, the pick of the bunch was an inch-perfect, lovely-weighted pass into Juan Mata for United’s third. It was the stuff of dreams that split open the LASK defence.
As you’d imagine, Reds fans were buzzing on social media, taking to Twitter to praise the 27-year-old for a top display. Rightly so, too!
