Ronaldo wants Madrid raid
Cristiano Ronaldo has backed the signing of TWO Real Madrid stars this summer in order to make Juventus Champions League contenders next season.
The attacker wants his club to launch bids for two of his former Madrid team-mates, in the form of Raphael Varane and Isco.
Corriere dello Sport claim both players are on the club’s summer shortlist, along with Ajax starlet Matthijs De Ligt and Benfica defender Ruben Dias.
Varane has been heavily linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu this season, while Isco struggled for game time under previous manager Santiago Solari.
‘Dream’ United move
Amadou Haidara, who has impressed for RB Leipzig since joining the club in December, is a relatively unknown quantity outside of Germany.
But the 21-year-old, seen as Naby Keita’s successor at the Red Bull Arena Leipzig, has admitted he would be more than open to a move to Manchester United.
“I like Manchester United very much and watch as many games as possible,” Haidara told Bild.
“I dream of playing there.
Pogba and Martial out?
Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has called on Manchester United to sell Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial this summer.
The duo have come under-fire in recent weeks due to their poor performances – and Carragher thinks the club should consider selling.
“Solskjaer is coming out now and questioning players and the same names are coming up. Pogba, Martial. The same players all the time,” he said earlier this week.
“So if people aren’t showing the right attitude just make a decision. Be a big club and a proper club and say ‘OK. If you don’t accept what we want to do, move on and we’ll get someone else’. It’s Manchester United!
“Never forget how big the club is and the power that they’ve got. Don’t ever let these players dictate to the club about signing contracts, just get rid of them!”
Liverpool chasing Aouar
Liverpool have made Lyon star Houssem Aouar their top target this summer.
Jurgen Klopp has already drawn up his shortlist for arrivals this summer, with Le10foot reporting that Lyon star Aouar is highly thought of at Anfield.
The German manager is not the only one to think so, with rival Pep Guardiola also a known fan of the Frenchman.
Only in November last year did the Catalan coach sung his praises after City drew 2-2 with the French outfit.
Martinelli deal agreed
Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Brazilian sensation Gabriel Martinelli.
According to Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte, 17-year-old winger Martinelli will make the move from Ituano.
Martinelli was reportedly being tracked by 25 different clubs and Arsenal have won the race for his signature.
The youngster will not need a work permit due to having Italian heritage.
United supporter linked with move
Manchester United are keen to sign PSG right-back Thomas Meunier.
The Telegraph are reporting that a cut-price deal could be agreed with the French club over the signing.
The Belgian has fallen out of favour at the Parc des Princes after the signing of Thilo Kehrer.
furthermore, Meunier would be desperate to sign for the Red Devils – the club he supported growing up.
Mendy to be replaced at Man City?
Manchester City are eyeing Real Madrid ace Marcos Llorente as a replacement for Benjamin Mendy.
According to El Chiringuito, Pep Guardiola has his eye on Real ace Llorente.
And with Zinedine Zidane reluctant to use him, he could be brought in as competition for Mendy.
Llorente is naturally a defensive midfielder but can operate at left-back.
Hazard told to go
Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been urged to join Real Madrid this summer or risk never earning a move to the Spanish club.
Pundit Craig Burley thinks the Belgian needs to jump at the chance, in case the Spanish giants sign Neymar or Kylian Mbappe.
“Time is not on Hazard’s side,” he told ESPN FC.
“If he does not make the move to Real Madrid this summer, he is probably never going to make that move.
“Because in just over one year’s time they will have moved onto someone else, be it Neymar or Mbappe, or the new kid on the block.
