Ceballos to seal speedy loan
Dani Ceballos’ loan to Arsenal will be completed relatively quickly this week.
But Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane first needs to give the green light to the switch.
It is expected the Frenchman will approve Ceballos’ departure for the 2019/20 season.
Ceballos’ switch to the Emirates Stadium will be straightforward once Zidane gives the all clear, according to Goal.
That means personal terms and the player’s say so will not hold things up, with Arsenal not having to worry about meeting potential wage demands.
Goal add Real have not yet fully agreed to the move but a deal is now very close.
West Ham avoid Haller clause
West Ham have managed to sign Sebastien Haller for a club-record £45m.
And it is understood the five-year contract the striker has penned does NOT include a buyout clause.
Haller’s representatives wanted the deal to have a release clause for Champions League clubs.
But the 25-year-old, bought from Eintracht Frankfurt, does not have an escape fee in his contract at the London Stadium.
West Ham have now signed four players this summer and it is believed they are not done in the market yet.
Saliba chooses Arsenal after Saint-Etienne agreement
William Saliba looks set to snub late interest from Tottenham to join Arsenal.
French outlet Peuple-Vert have revealed that Arsenal have won the race for the youngster for two reasons.
The Emirates outfit put an initial £25m bid in but have upped that to £36m now, made up of £30m and then £6m in add-ons, blowing Tottenham out of the water.
Added on top of that, the north London side have also slapped a 20 per cent sell-on clause for any future transfer, Peuple-Vert report.
Fernandes bid imminent
Manchester United are expected to bid for Bruno Fernandes this week – with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly playing a major role.
According to A Bola, United will make a bid for the midfielder by the end of the week.
It is said should Solskjaer put further pressure on the Old Trafford board, it could help get the deal done.
However, A Bola goes on to state that Tottenham are ready to enter the race too.
Though a fee has not yet been mooted, it is thought the initial offer could be in the area of £50m (€55m).
DONE DEAL – Trippier joins Atletico
Kieran Trippier has officially joined Atletico Madrid from Tottenham.
The £20m switch has been confirmed with the right-back swapping the Premier League for La Liga.
The 28-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Spanish giants.
Villa must pay Butland asking price
Aston Villa have been told how to sign Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland by Potters boss Nathan Jones.
He says the club will only let him go if Villa, or any other potential suitor, coughs up the full asking price, which is thought to be around £30m.
“We don’t want Jack to go. Jack’s a Premier League goalkeeper, no two ways about it,” said Jones.
“We would like to get back there as soon as possible so we could give him that platform, but if there is any suitor for Jack Butland, then they have to pay the value.
“This is not a club that is desperate to sell or needs to sell.”
DONE DEAL – Haller the Hammer
West Ham have confirmed the signing of Sebastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The striker has joined in a deal worth £45m as a replacement for Marko Arnautovic.
Haller has signed a five-year deal and has become the Hammers’ record signing.
“I feel really great. I think it’s a really good opportunity for me to be here,” he said.
“It means a lot. It proves that the club really wanted me for a long time. I felt this desire to sign me and I’m really happy to sign, also. it is an ambitious club, a nice club, a nice city and nice fans too.
“For me I can guarantee that I will give 100% for the club because the club has given me this confidence and I will try to give it back every day in every game.”
Gueye to PSG?
Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye is reportedly ready to push for a move to PSG if Goodison Park bosses block his departure.
Le Parisien claim that PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has made the 29-year-old a priority signing this summer.
That could make it exceptionally difficult for Everton to shake them off.
Moreover, The Times report that Gueye is extremely keen on a move to the Parc des Princes.
And he is hoping that PSG up their offer so Everton can sanction a deal for him to move to the French capital.
Should the Toffees hold firm on their man though, it is understood that the player will look to push for a move, having simply accepted the decision six months ago.
Man Utd plot Maguire swap
Manchester United will consider offering Phil Jones to Leicester in a bid to sign Harry Maguire, according to reports.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made Maguire his priority target as he looks to address the club’s defensive frailties.
Leicester are holding out for around £80m though having already rejected a £65m bid for the England international.
But according to The Telegraph, Solskjaer is prepared to offer Jones to the Foxes to help convince them into doing business.
£72m Man Utd ultimatum
Manchester United have demanded €80m (£72m) from Inter Milan for Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian is expected to leave this summer after falling out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Inter will up their bid to €60m (£54m) plus bonuses this week.
The Serie A giants are willing to pay Lukaku £140,000-a-week.
But United will likely snub the offer as they look to recoup the money they splashed out for him.

Arsenal make Zaha call
Arsenal are reportedly eyeing Gremio winger Everton after Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson slammed the club’s efforts to sign Wilfried Zaha.
According to the Mirror, the Gunners have turned their attentions to the Brazil international.
The 23-year-old man is believed to be available for around £36m, with some outlets reporting that a deal has already been struck between the two clubs.
Everton confirmed on Monday that he had an offer for a move, although he did not say that it was from Arsenal.
“Right now I have an offer on the plate, but I can’t say the name of the club in question,” he said.

Liverpool Coutinho demand
Liverpool fans are desperate to see Philippe Coutinho return to the club this summer.
After the club posted a video on Twitter of Trent Alexander-Arnold hitting team-mate Ben Woodburn with a pillow on board a plane to America, Reds fans spammed the comments with demands to re-sign Coutinho.
Along with a picture of Coutinho in Liverpool colours, one user posted: “going to spam every thread until he comes home.”
Another supporter tweeted: “We love Trent don’t get us wrong but SIGN COUTINHO.”
While one Reds fan expressed his dismay at the fact Coutinho is yet to return to Anfield, saying: “WHERE IS COUTINHO?!?!?”
