James to Man Utd
Manchester United have completed the signing of Daniel James from Swansea City.
The 21-year-old winger has put pen to paper on a five-year contract, with the option of a further season.
“This is one of the best days of my life and a challenge I am really looking forward to,” James said.
“The Premier League is the best league in the world and Manchester United is the perfect place for me to continue to develop as a player.”

Carrasco to Arsenal?
Arsenal are confident of signing Yannick Carrasco from Dalian Yifang.
The Chinese Super League club want £26m but the Gunners would prefer a loan deal.
Carrasco wants to return to Europe, and when asked about Arsenal, he said: “I can’t speak about the club.
“Now I am not the one who chooses, but my president. He decides if he lets me go or not, but I hope I can come back.”
Lovren to AC Milan?
Liverpool want £25m for Dejan Lovren this summer – with AC Milan linked with a swoop for the Croatian star.
The Reds star warmed the bench regularly last term with Joe Gomez and Joel Matip both impressing alongside Virgil van Dijk.
And The Times reporter Paul Joyce now reports Lvierpool have put a fee of £25m on Lovren’s head should any deal be done.
Milan are yet to make a formal move for the centre-back, however.
Hudson-Odoi to extend Chelsea contract?
Callum Hudson-Odoi is prepared to sign a new Chelsea contract – but only if he’s given assurances about his future at the club.
The winger impressed in his debut season, earning a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad.
Bayern Munich tried to get him in January and Hudson-Odoi has so far refused to sign an extension to his deal which expires next summer.
The Sun report he’s now ready to change his mind and put pen to paper – if the club offer him guarantees about playing regularly.
Maguire to Man City?
Craig Burley believes Manchester United target Harry Maguire should join Manchester City.
“Would he be a good fit alongside somebody like Laporte? Absolutely, and really City are looking for people that are not frightened to take chances,” Burley said.
“That’s what City do and that’s what’s been successful for them.
“Now, the other name doing the rounds is Koulibaly who I think is a wonderful defender.
“Yes [he is a better defender than Maguire].
“But then there is a question mark about would he prepared and be comfortable to take as many chances as City are going to take?
“I think Koulibaly one on one, the power, the pace, the defending, the strength, is phenomenal.
“But then you’ve got to make a decision as a coach – where does the balance lie?
“So I think for that reason there’s a good chance if the money’s right, [Maguire] could happen.
“And if I was Harry Maguire and I was going to a team that will probably fighting for a quadruple next year, which they did this year, then I would be straight up to Manchester.
“Kompany’s gone, Stones has been in and out and he didn’t have a great season.
“I think [Nicolas] Otamendi’s out the door now, well he’s not first choice.
“So he’s going to play if he goes, he’s going to play, unless he has a bad time of it.
“It makes sense all round, he’s a good player.”
Oblak to Man Utd?
Manchester United target Jan Oblak “must think and know” David De Gea is leaving Old Trafford, according to Liverpool legend Steve Nicol.
“Why are you going out and spending €120m to buy this guy out?” Nicol said on ESPN FC.
“Why are you going and spending €120m on bringing somebody in to a different country, to a new team, a team that is going to be demolished pretty much and is going to have to add a lot of pieces?
“Why are you getting rid of one of the most important pieces in De Gea?
“So this is not about how good for me Oblak is.
“And I’m kind of surprised that Oblak turns round and says ‘I want to go to Manchester United’.
“Now, the only reason he’s saying that he’s he must know something, he must think and know that De Gea’s leaving.
“Otherwise he’s not coming out and saying that.
“Any team in the world would benefit from having Oblak.
“Instead of going out and spending another €120m on a goalkeeper, why don’t you make the guy you’ve got right now happy?
“A guy who questionably over the last six or seven years has been the best goalkeeper in the Premier League.
“Why do you want to make a change? I don’t understand that.”
Pogba to Real Madrid?
Real Madrid are trying to shift up to TEN players to raise funds for a £135m bid for Paul Pogba.
The Spanish giants are desperate to land Pogba, who is rated at £150m by Manchester United, for manager Zinedine Zidane.
France star Pogba is disillusioned with life at Old Trafford and wants to move – but Real need to shift players to make the numbers work.
They have already spent £250m bringing in Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Eder Militao and are poised to spend another £44m on Lyon’s Ferland Mendy.
So they are making a host of fringe players and misfits available to try and balance the books ahead of a push for Pogba.
Mendy to Real Madrid
Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Ferland Mendy for €47m.
A statement on the club’s website read: “Real Madrid C. F. and Olympique Lyonnais have agreed the transfer of Ferland Mendy.
“The player has signed a contract with the club for the next six seasons, running to the 30th of June 2025.
“Mendy will be presented on Wednesday the 19th of June at 1:00pm CEST in the VIP box at the Santiago Bernabéu.
“Mendy will then set foot on the Santiago Bernabéu pitch for the first time wearing a Real Madrid C.F. jersey and speak to the press.”
Wan-Bissaka to Man Utd?
Manchester United would be “crazy” to offer Crystal Palace £65m for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
That is according to Arsenal legend Ray Parlour, who believes the Eagles defender is an “excellent player” but not yet worthy of such a price tag.
“I really like him, I think he’s an excellent player and I’ve seen him on quite a few occasions,” Parlour told talkSPORT.
“His defending is very good and he gets forward. But for £65m? It’s crazy.
“I mean, look at those Ajax youngsters.
“They’re only young and they’ve not really done anything yet.
“They’ve really shown that they can play in an Ajax shirt and have done really well in the Champions League but they’re going for £70m-£80m as well.”
Griezmann to Barcelona?
It’s been a long time coming but it finally looks like Antoine Griezmann is heading to Barcelona.
Atletico Madrid bigwig Gil Marin has been speaking about the World Cup winner’s future.
He said: “I’m very clear about where Antoine is going to play, it’s been known since March, Barcelona.”
