And the Toffees are prepared to send Cenk Tosun to Selhurst Park as well, according to The Telegraph.

Newcastle and Villa in Wilson war

Aston Villa face a war with Newcastle over Liverpool star Harry Wilson, who wants regular game time next season.

Liverpool are still deciding over what they wish to do with Wilson before the window closes in two weeks’ time.

However, Premier League duo Villa and Newcastle have been clear what their stance is.

Dean Smith’s newly-promoted side have been busy in the market and also have Wilson on their radar.

But Football Insider say Newcastle have joined them in exploring whether a permanent or loan deal is possible.

Origi in honest admission

Striker Divock Origi has opened up further on his new contract signed this summer at Liverpool and admits he could still face testing times in the future.

Despite being Jurgen Klopp’s back-up No.9, the 24-year-old penned fresh terms after becoming somewhat of a cult hero for his crucial contributions in Liverpool’s Champions League triumph.

He said: “Am I back to my best? I am not the person who is going to make declarations, I am just trying to show on the pitch how I feel.

“There might some difficult moments in the future, as there might be some good moments, I am just preparing for the best.”

Solskjaer makes Maguire plea

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told Ed Woodward he wants Harry Maguire signed from Leicester as soon as possible.

Maguire is understood to have been Solskjaer’s top target to strengthen the side at centre-half.

Up until now, Leicester have held firm over their £80m valuation of Maguire, with United still yet to meet their demands.

But according to Sky Sports, Solskjaer has now pleaded to executive vice-chairman Woodward he wants the signing completed urgently.

There is only two weeks left of the transfer window, and the manager is hoping Maguire joins very soon.

Tottenham remain locked in talks over deals for Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon and Fernando Llorente.

A £50m move for the Real Betis ace is edging nearer, while it’s thought west Londoners Fulham are ready to do a deal over Sessegnon for around £20m.

The Evening Standard claim Spurs are convinced both deals will get over the line before the August 8 deadline.

Ceballos costs Arsenal pretty penny

Arsenal’s deal for Dani Ceballos will cost the club £15m due to his loan fee and wages.

The Spanish midfielder’s arrival was confirmed this afternoon.

And according to The Sun, the Gunners will fork out the large sum until next summer to have Ceballos as part of the squad.

Unai Emery won’t be able to keep him beyond this season, though, as there was no option to buy agreed with Real.
