Manchester United Football Club have been out of action for four days and counting. Sporting events won’t take place until April 4th at the earliest.
However, the lack of football does come with some positives – amongst those is the fact that players may well now return from injury and be able to take part in our season run-in.
Paul Pogba’s season has been decimated by time spent on the treatment table, so-much-so that he’s barely played a handful of games this term.
Well, he’s now well on the road to recovery. Although United training has been cancelled, it’s down to the players to maintain (or in Pogba’s case, build-up) those fitness levels.
Today, Pogba gave us all an insight into how his recovery is progressing, by posting a video of himself, and Victor Lindelof, back in training. As the eagle-eyed amongst you will notice, the mercurial Frenchman is wearing a Juventus jersey – at which he makes a joke about in his comment section:
As Pogba says, he’s only supporting his friends which is cool. First and foremost, though, it’s great to see the midfielder back out there working hard.
Yes, there’s only so much you can do in-house, but this is definitely a good start. It’s also nice to see Lindelof working alongside him.
Hopefully, the injury problems are now behind him and Pogba can solely focus on getting back to that high-level in which he was playing at when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer first took charge…
