Manchester United Football Club’s interest in Jack Grealish is becoming more prominent across the British media as the season goes on.
Back on February 10th, we covered a story from the Sunday Express, who went as far as saying that the Aston Villa man is United’s top-target going into the summer.
As the season has progressed, Grealish has gone from strength-to-strength as he adjusts and adapts to life in the Premier League. Today, the 24-year-old attacker put in another top-drawer outing – with United fans heaping praise on Grealish. Rightly so, too…
Grealish has that swagger which is required to become one of the world’s best. He plays with an attitude, a desire, a purpose. United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could definitely use some of that right now.
I guess an awful lot depends on Aston Villa. If they’re relegated, although it’ll be tough for Grealish to take, he surely has to move on next summer? United should be at the front of that queue, though having Champions League football on offer would definitely make it easier for the 20-time Premier League champions.
Grealish could play in the #10 slot or over on the left-wing. For me, he’s better through the middle, although having that versatility definitely helps.
Either way, expect United to play the long-game on this one. Grealish definitely has to be aboard the plane when England head to EURO 2020 and I’d be surprised if any major deal is done beforehand…
