Bale has been heavily linked with a move to United in recent months as speculation continues to surround his future in Spain.
But any Red Devils fans getting excited that the Madrid star has been spotted at Carrington are set to be disappointed.
Bale and his Wales co-stars have been training at United’s complex this week as they prepare for Wednesday’s clash with Trinidad & Tobago.
However, the Welshman looked especially happy as he walked through the corridors of the training base on Tuesday morning.
Bale was snapped with a big grin on his face while passing a giant mural of Marcus Rashford celebrating.
Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard were drawn on the adjacent wall, both also celebrating themselves.
But will Bale indeed join United this summer?
The winger’s future remains up in the air due to return of Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu.
The Frenchman hasn’t always seen eye-to-eye with Bale and repeatedly benched him during his first spell in the Madrid dugout.
However, the player’s agent insists his client wants to remain in Spain for the entirety of his career.
“Yes, why not? He wants to play all his career for Real Madrid and if it does not work out, we will talk again,” Jonathan Barnett told 5Live recently.
“He will talk with Mr Zidane, take it from there and then see at the end of the season.
“We [Barnett and Bale] speak a lot. The closest person to him is my son Joshua who is really his agent and he looks after him, he has done a good job.
“Gareth wanted to play one way and Zidane wanted to play another.
“That was the cause of it and over a period of time it got worse.
“If you let Gareth play the way he wants to play, having a run of games in a row not in and out, he can be right up there with Cristiano Ronaldo.
“He still has a great talent.”
