The Red Devils suffered a setback as they crashed out of the FA Cup to Wolves last weekend.
But this is only the third defeat for caretake manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since he took over in December.
The Norwegian has the best win percentage of any manager since Sir Alex Ferguson with nearly 74%.
The Scot, who was in the hot seat at Old Trafford for 27 years, retired in 2013 as Moyes stepped in.
But it was a tumultuous nine months for the former Everton boss, being sacked in April after defeat to his former club.
And footage has emerged on beIN SPORTS of the former United boss revealing this was a lot closer than people thought.
In the clip, host Richard Keys asks how unlucky Moyes got in transfer windows.
Moyes’ revelation comes as:
And he replies: “Fellaini was meant to be part of a group of players who would come in.
“By the time we got to the end of the transfer window, we thought we were in with a chance of Gareth Bale.
“We hoped we could take him out of going to Real Madrid.
“But it was already half-done.
“We offered more money to try and entice him. We had a helicopter.”
The Scot went on to say how difficult it was to initiate change at Old Trafford.
“He’s nothing in my book”

“My time at United could not be revolution when I went in,” Moyes added.
“It had to be an evolution.
“It had to take time to change. It couldn’t happen overnight.
“With transfer windows and the general philosophy, you couldn’t make the changes quickly.”
But the United faithful were not impressed with their former boss’ analysis.
“Completely wrong mentality,” one supporter said.
“He’s nothing in my book.”
Another commented: “Okay, muppet.”
While a third had a damning review of the Scot.
“United didn’t sack Moyes,” they said.
“He sacked himself.”
This comes as Solskjaer’s brutal words to his players after the Wolves defeat were revealed.
