Manchester United’s overall outlook feels far more positive with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in charge.
The Baby Faced Assassin is getting the best out of an immensely talented squad, and we’re looking like a far happier club right now.
Perhaps the player who has made the biggest improvement is Paul Pogba. We’re now finally getting to see a glimpse of the world-class superstar that we all thought we were signing – and it’s brilliant to see.
However, while speaking to the media during the international break, the Frenchman has seemingly taken a step backwards – in the eyes of some United fans anyway… Pogba has stated that Real Madrid is a ‘dream club’ for every player, although he did admit his happiness in Manchester.
“At the moment I’m happy in Manchester. I play. There’s a new coach,” Pogba is quoted as saying by the BBC.
“Real Madrid is one of the biggest clubs in the world. I’ve always said it is a dream club for every player.” Pogba added.
This all feels very Cristiano Ronaldo-esque to me, although the Portuguese superstar went about it much more professionally.
At the end of the day, this is disappointing. Pogba’s had a few good months and he’s already flirting with Florentino Perez and Real Madrid…
I guess that’s what you should expect when you’re signing this high profile players with big ambition. Obviously, the fact that United haven’t won any meaningful trophies isn’t helping – so some of the blame has to be laid at the club’s door…
